About Me

Shu is a Jakarta-born and raised, Melbourne-based artist, singer-songwriter, producer, and creative director. Her works span across areas such as songwriting, vocal production, and music production. She focuses on creating music that feels true to her colours, intentional, and unique in artistry.​

She takes a hands-on approach to her projects, working across composition, sound editing, production, and creative direction. Her background in performance and dance has also shaped the way she thinks about rhythm, expression, and the visual side of being an artist.

Shu has contributed to officially released music available on streaming platforms and continues to build her own catalogue while working with other artists and collaborators. As Shu, she aims to always develop a sound and identity that can keep evolving with her, rather than being tied to one style or genre. Her work is ultimately driven by curiosity, instinct, and the desire to make music that feels personal, where people can connect with it on a deeper level through their own lens.

Shu is currently completing her final year of a Bachelor of Arts (Music Industry) at RMIT University.
